History of Fredericton ACL from 1959 - 2020

Fredericton ACL is part of a national and international movement. We are a member of the NB Association. Every provincial and territorial association is a member of Inclusion Canada, formerly Canadian Association for Community Living. In turn Inclusion Canada is a member of Inclusion International. Much of what we have accomplished has been within the context of Canada wide initiatives by our national organization.

For the past 60 years members of our Association have been joined by family members, volunteers, staff, service groups, community members, professionals, neighbours, government employees and friends, to create opportunities and improve the lives of children and adults who have an intellectual disability.
